This summer sees a grand culmination of seven months of fast and furious shop openings across the country, from the southern depths of Truro up to Keswick in the north. So far we’ve had eight new shops open for 2016, which means we now have 32 shops across the country – exciting!
So with all of these new and established shops alike making handmade fudge each and every day, what summer flavours have they been making this July and August?
- Salcombe Gin and Lemon Fudge
Our Roly’s Fudge Salcombe have been busy making this all new fudge flavour, created from a popular fruit and alcohol combination. It’s made with local handcrafted Salcombe Gin as well as the best of Sicilian lemon oil – the same oil used to make our zesty Lemon Meringue Fudge.
2. Banana Fudge
Here’s our Banana Fudge, freshly made by our Roly’s Fudge Newquay shop (don’t forget this shop has recently moved!). After introducing this flavour in the last few years, we’ve been working to perfect this recipe through 2016, and many of our fudge pantries across the country have been making this fudge flavour through the spring and summer season. Another fantastic variation on this has been our Banoffee Fudge, a flavour that was first introduced by Roly’s Fudge Falmouth and which has been honed since it was first introduced to use the most natural and delicious ingredients possible.
3. Pimms Fudge
Our Pimms Fudge has been made by many of our fudge pantries over the past few years, including Roly’s Fudge Stratford-upon-Avon, and is here modelled by our Roly’s Fudge Salisbury shop. What can we say about this delicious fruity fudge flavour? Each fudge pantry gives their own twist to this fudge flavour, and here Roly’s Fudge Salisbury adds real fruit to their Pimms Fudge to give it an extra delicious kick.
4. Raspberry and White Chocolate Fudge
Here’s a new delicious fudge flavour, modelled by our Roly’s Fudge Exeter. Dotted with delicious raspberries and drizzled with warm Belgian white chocolate, this flavour is sweet and summery all in one.
5. Sticky Toffee Fudge
This has become a firm favourite for many Roly’s fans – a delicious butterscotch fudge full of juicy dates, this one is being made freshly by Roly’s Fudge Stow-on-the-Wold. Look out for this one to return at Christmas, if not before!
