Christmas Pudding Fudge: an iconic Roly’s Fudge flavour
Our Christmas Pudding Fudge has a long history at Roly’s Fudge. Available for only a few months at the end of the year, this fudge flavour is requested all year round!
This fudge flavour is the very best of what Roly’s Fudge is all about. We start by making our normal fudge recipe with real sugar, milk and butter. Then we add all our natural ingredients that we prepare over the course of several days – real carrots and apples, handfuls of all sorts of spices, and a mixture of the best of festive spirits such as brandy and stout. Making our Christmas Pudding Fudge takes dedication and focus to get it just right, and it’s a real art process in all of our fudge pantries. Try it to believe it!

Improved using natural ingredients
Just like our Cherry Bakewell Fudge where we said goodbye to glace cherries, this Christmas Pudding Fudge flavour now uses the best of real cherries, lemon peel and orange peel.
We’ve been making some tweaks to it this year in order to make sure every ingredient we add to this Roly’s Fudge recipe is as natural as possible. Sticking to our artisan craft, we’ve made a few small changes. For example, we’ve put real lemon and orange peel into every batch of this fudge flavour. We’ve also put real cherries into the fudge flavour to replace the old glace cherries.
That means this from 2016 onwards, our Christmas Pudding Fudge has no artificial preservatives, additives, or colourings. Essentially, you’ve got a Christmas Pudding in a fudge!
All sorts of secret methods go into making this fudge, meaning this flavour is a real labour of love.
