The Rio 2016 Olympics are well and truly underway, and here at Roly’s Fudge we’re celebrating our very own medal winners!

This year we’ve won four food awards for our delicious fudge flavours. Roly’s Fudge Salisbury are hosting this year’s award ceremony for the 2016 fudge award winners:

As we all snuggle down to a few weeks of awesome Olympic action, Roly’s Fudge Pantry has its own medal winners to celebrate with Vanilla Clotted Cream crossing the finishing line with a 2** Good Taste 2016 award and newcomer to the field Salted Maple & Pecan picking up a 1* Good Taste 2016 award. Meanwhile, Lemon Meringue and Hot Cross Buns crossed the finishing line with Taste of the West Highly Commended 2016 – so big congrats to all these fudge champions! Roly’s Fudge have now been winning awards for nine years. So far our handmade fudge has won a grand total of 21 awards from the Guild of Fine Food (Great Taste) and from Taste of the West.

Of course, this isn’t the first award we’ve ever received for our Vanilla Clotted Cream Fudge. This year’s awards ceremony sees our most traditional of flavours grab its fifth award since Roly’s Fudge began entering food awards in 2009.

Our Salted Maple and Pecan Fudge grabs a 1*, despite only being a year old. This flavour was first introduced by our Roly’s Fudge Salcombe pantry last year, and has since become most of our most popular flavours ever.

Hot Cross Bun Fudge, our Easter exclusive, wins its first award since being conjured up by our Roly’s Fudge Ilfracombe shop in 2015. Lemon Meringue Fudge also wins a Highly Commended, its third award in this flavour’s history.
