Fudge fans in West PolperroCornwall, get ready! Roly’s Fudge is coming to Polperro.

Matt and Shelley are opening a Roly’s Fudge Pantry in the popular village and fishing harbour on the south-east coast of Cornwall. The couple are opening in the former Fudge & More shop, which sold sweets and gifts, on Polperro’s characteristic Fore Street.

Shelley first began working in Roly’s Totnes three years ago and opened her own fudge pantry in Salcombe in early 2014. Her husband Matt has now left his supermarket manager position to follow the fudgey dream and open his very own shop.

“We are so pleased to be bringing crumbly fudge to Polperro,” says Matt.

Roly’s Polperro will be the third Roly’s in Cornwall, with two already open in Falmouth and Newquay.

The shop will offer traditional flavours such as Vanilla Clotted Cream, Chocolate, and Maple & Walnut, as well as our more unusual flavours such as Lemon Meringue and Sea Salt.

The new fudge pantry will also be donating to the RNLI Looe Lifeboat Station. For every 150g special bag of Sea Salt Fudge purchased, 20p will go to the RNLI. Several Roly’s Pantries, including Roly’s Fudge Salcombe, Sidmouth and Lyme Regis, offer donations to the RNLI from sales of their Sea Salt Fudge.

Matt and Shelley will be holding the grand shop opening Friday 13th February. The shop, located on Fore Street, will be open Monday-Sunday during the season.
