We are very proud to have won a Great Taste 1* award for Salted Maple & Pecan Fudge – the second award this flavour has won in just two years!

The flavour, introduced in 2015, has become one of our bestselling favourites at Roly’s Fudge within only a matter of months, alongside our Sea Salt Fudge and our Vanilla Clotted Cream Fudge.

Last year in 2016, Salted Maple and Pecan Fudge won a 1* at the Great Taste Awards – and this year at Taste of the West Awards it won a prestigious Gold award for a fudge that was described as “faultless in flavour”.

The fudge flavour was developed by Roly’s Fudge Salcombe as an exciting alternative combining the 100% authentic maple syrup from our Maple & Walnut Fudge with the popular salted flavour of Sea Salt Fudge.

The judges at Great Taste described Salted Maple and Pecan Fudge as a “dark, rich, buttery, soft fudge with a generous level of nuts.  The salt is well balanced, the nuts fresh and the maple adds a delicious flavour”.

Roly’s Fudge has been entering Great Taste since 2013 and so far has won 12 awards in the space of 4 years.  Other popular award winners from previous years include Vanilla Clotted Cream (2016 2 Stars), Sea Salt (2015 1 Star) and Honeycomb (2014 2 Stars)
