I didn't think I was a lover of fudge
I didn’t think I was a lover of fudge until a friend sent me a box from Roly’s Fudge. This is by far the nicest I’ve ever tasted and it’s a million miles ahead of anything you’d pick up in a supermarket. The delivery is really quick and the boxes are beautifully presented, so this will be my new go-to for little gifts, and I’d urge anyone to give them a go. If I could rate it 6 out of 5 stars then I definitely would!

One of my fondest childhood memories is walking around an indoor market and spotting your shop in the corner. Inside a lady was making the fudge on the marble slab, all 6 of us mouths watering. My dad purchased two different flavours… And my love for your fudge began 🙂

We came into your store and fell in love! We saw how the fudge was made! The woman there talked us through how to make fudge! It’s the only place we will ever buy fudge from now!! No other fudge compares!! Well done!
Fudge to die for!
We found Roly’s many years ago on a leisurely saunter around the streets of Totnes…… My children are grown up now but they still maintain that no fudge they have ever tasted since measures up to what we tasted that day…Indescribably yummy flavours; Fudge to die for!
After sampling the tasty freebies on offer I was hooked
I stumbled across Roly’s well over 13 years ago in a shop in North Devon. I was drawn like a hungry bumble bee is to nectar, to the most mouthwatering sugary scent in the air I had ever encountered. After sampling the tasty freebies on offer I was hooked and have been ever since, and refuse any cheap imitations!
One sample later and they had bought half the shop!
During a visit to Devon, age 10, I went on a bike ride with my cousins… We returned to the car later, only to find my mum and aunt with empty bags of Roly’s fudge. They had discovered a shop and were lured in by the sweet smell. One sample later and they had bought half the shop! They said “we bought you some fudge, but we’ve eaten it all, sorry.” Needless to say they couldn’t manage dinner that night!
I thought I’d died & gone to heaven.
Yesterday I happened upon Roly’s by chance …just by the smell itself when I walked into the shop, I thought I’d died & gone to heaven. I ended up buying enough fudge to feed a small herd of elephants.

Visited your shop in Somerset many years ago and when that closed we travelled to Devon, if you went to the moon we would probably make the journey still!!
It is simply the best.
I have recently returned from a family holiday in Cornwall where we sampled fudge at every opportunity, even some “award winning” fudge, but nothing compared to Roly’s. I usually buy Roly’s for Christmas but my son was so disappointed with the fudge in Cornwall that he has made a special request for Roly’s for his birthday this month. It is simply the best.

Crumbly and melt-in-your mouth goodness
My friends have been raving on about how good Roly’s Fudge is – crumbly and melt-in-your mouth goodness. After I quickly polished off a sample from my friends, I had to get my hands on a box for myself to feed my new found addiction!

Whilst on holiday I stumbled upon the shop where the ‘fudgers’ were turning the hot fudge on a marble table. I was drawn into the shop by the wonderous aroma and tried their tasty, crumbly fudge and I’ve been hooked ever since. It is truly sublime.

My family and I have holidayed in Devon for many years and the highlight has always been a visit to one of your shops for our annual fix of your delicious fudge. The kids always try all flavours but my favourite has always been the traditional vanilla. Many thanks for years of scrumminess, I look forward to many more!
Too delicious for words!
While on holiday in Devon last July I passed the shop and the smell of the fudge being made drew me inside – absolutely delicious. Bought some to eat while strolling around and a box to take home, but couldn’t resist and had to open it and ate that too, so never managed to take any home. Have ordered by phone and online so am well and truly hooked on the Vanilla. Too delicious for words!
I went to Cornwall and was impressed by the fudge that I bought in your shop. The staff at the shop were very welcoming and helpful, including my special request of dairy-free fudge for my 8 year old great-nephew who had never tasted fudge before.
I first discovered Roly’s at the Dorset Steam Fair quite a few years ago now. Aahh fudge heaven! Yours is the only shop bought fudge that tastes and feels exactly like my Mum used to make back in the 1950’s/60’s. I even take my own tupperware container with the instructions “fill this up please”! And now you have a shop not too far away from me. What more can a woman ask for! Thank you.

The best fudge I have ever had. I was happy to find you again in another city last week. My family have a ongoing joke that if they ever lose me on a day out, that not to worry; find the nearest fudge shop/ stall and I will be there.

Received my order 2 days after I placed it. It tasted as good as ever! I know my mum will enjoy hers that I brought her for Mother’s Day as well. Every time we pop into town it’s very difficult for us not to buy any, as for the butterscotch it is just soooooooooo delicious. I just also need to say at christmas they made a christmas pudding one which was to die for. It was just like eating christmas pudding! I went into a chocolate shop in Brighton asking about fudge for my dad. The lady behind the counter recommended us to try a tiny fudge shop in the lanes called Roly’s Fudge. She said you’ll know when you get to it because you can smell it as you walk past. I can honestly say it is the most amazing taste sensation and the whole family is now utterly addicted!
