Owner Matt Jones has added his own twist to the traditional seaside treats offered in the town, opening Roly’s Fudge Weymouth on St Alban Street.

The shop opened in February 2016, selling traditional crumbly fudge to visitors to the West Dorset seaside town.

“We have many fudge pantries along the south coastline of England, and Weymouth was the next stop on the Jurassic Coast,” said Matt, owner of Roly’s Fudge Weymouth.

“From working in the office for the company, I’ve seen a lot of potential in the business model. I wanted to invest in the franchise by opening my own shop.”

It is a beautiful seaside town, known for its golden beaches and Georgian grandeur. There are just as many places to relax as there is to be active and there’s an abundance of  attractions, making it the perfect place for all the family!

Since opening this store, Matt has taken on ownership of Roly’s Fudge Exmouth. As well as this, he also owns Roly’s Fudge St Ives and Bath alongside his sister, Dannee and mother, Carrie.

The three of them also run Roly’s Fudge overall, the franchising company that brings 15 families together operating more than forty independently run shops across the UK.
