Roly's Fudge Shop Bath

Coming Soon: Roly’s Fudge Pantry Bath

1st May 2019
Roly's Fudge Shop Bath

We are thrilled to announce our latest opening for Roly’s Fudge – Bath!

Opening Mid May 2019, Roly’s Fudge Pantry Bath will be opening in the heart of the historic city, located on busy Stall Street.

The shop is being opened by Carrie and her children Matt and Dannee – a family trio whose first joint shop was the fudge pantry in St Ives, opened two years ago in 2017.

The three of them also run Roly’s Fudge overall, the franchising company that brings 14 families together as one Roly’s family operating 42 independently run shops across the UK.

Dannee has expressed her excitement about the new shop opening: “The city of Bath has always held a special place in our heart, and we already have a big following of Roly’s Fudge fans in Bath and the surrounding area.

“Ever since our origins making fudge on the table of a humble cottage kitchen, family and community have been the core of our values – so having a chance to bring our family-run fudge making to such a rich heritage city is an extraordinary sensation. We can’t wait to be part of the local community in Bath!”

The shop will be making its traditional flavours plus stocking fudge sauce and vegan fudge. In store, visitors will be able to build their very own box from 3, 4 or even 5 flavours, and take fudge away with them in our luxury black and gold boxes.

Our first limited edition Fudge, which will be freshly made in the shop’s window for you to see, will be in collaboration with Bath Ales. Their hoppy ale will be used to create our award-winning Real Ale Fudge. This will be available for you to buy just in time for Father’s Day and National Fudge Day on the 16th of June. Be sure to come in and try a taster!

Our Pantry will be opening at 11 Stall Street, located in the Retail Quarter in the centre of Bath next to all the main tourist attractions, which are a must when visiting the Roman Town.

The Artisan Quarter – which is the heart of the city’s alternative character – is just a street away, and has been growing into one of the cities main attractions since the 1960s. Here you can immerse yourself in a collection of independent shops and restaurants offering anything from vintage homeware, to exquisite food and beautiful artwork.

However, this historic Roman Town has been known more as a destination of relaxation and wellbeing since Roman times. The gorgeous honey-coloured Georgian architecture which defines Bath is the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. Many people are drawn to Bath for its water; the ancient Roman Baths and the more modern Thermae Bath Spa. The latter is the only natural thermal hot spring in all of Britain that you can actually bathe in!

Our Pantry is only a short 2 minute walk to the Roman Baths and the Thermae Bath Spa, while only being a 5 minute walk from the Jane Austen Centre, Parade Gardens and the Pulteney Bridge. We are also located near the stunning No. 1 Royal Crescent Heritage Site and the iconic, historic curved townhouses of The Circus.

The shop will be opening on 11 Stall Street so keep an eye out in the coming weeks for the official opening day. Don’t forget to follow Roly’s Fudge Bath on Facebook to keep up to date with our opening day and behind the scenes posts!
